30 Day Declutter Challenge

Take the 30 Day Declutter Challenge and get the majority of your house in just 30 days. Eliminate the overwhelm and tackle the decluttering with no fear!

When it comes to decluttering your house, you know the rage that has hit…it’s all about Marie Kondo and her KonMari Method–basically if an item doesn’t spark joy in you, then out it goes! While this is a fabulous method, sometimes we need a little more guidance on even where to begin and how to stay focused in order to get our house decluttered.

30 Day Declutter Challenge

It’s time to take the 30 Day Declutter Challenge. Can you get the majority of your house in just 30 days? It may seem a bit overwhelming, but by breaking it down, day by day, you can tackle the decluttering with no fear!

My suggestion–grab a friend or two and take the challenge together. Of course, you won’t actually be helping each other declutter, but you will be checking in regularly to make sure you are each staying on task, to encourage each other and to give each other ideas as to what techniques work best for each of you.

To help you stay focused during the decluttering process, the days are broken down into the following groups:

  • collections
  • kitchen
  • day-to-day items
  • rooms
  • personal
  • seasonal items
  • miscellaneous

A few days are dedicated to each group. The best thing you can do is make the challenge work for you. If you feel like you need 2 days to complete one task, make the challenge a 60 Day Challenge, but don’t stop until you are done! The key is to stay focused and finish.

Once you make it through the 30 Day Declutter Challenge, don’t let the clutter pile up again. If you can stay on top of it, your home will always feel “just right”. Use the Clutter Control Checklist to do a timely, continual declutter!
