Easy Grilled Chicken
I have decided that anytime I am tired of making the same old recipes, I just need to go for a little visit with friends! I have a dear, dear friend that our family has the pleasure of reconnecting with every single summer. After a few days of visiting, I come home filled with joy and always with a handful of fresh, delicious recipes that quickly become regulars in our house!
This summer’s visit was no exception! We had the most delicious grilled chicken! The key here is that everyone in our family loved it!
This recipe is super easy to make. Just take 2 minutes to dump all of the spices and olive oil in a bowl and mix.
Once you get your grill fired up, add your chicken and brush on the seasoning mixture on each side. I like to flip the chicken 2-3 times brushing more mixture on with every flip. Cooking time will vary depending on how big your chicken breasts are.
With your grilled chicken, you can choose to eat it however you want. A few suggestions…plain, on a salad, with fettuccine or noodles and Alfredo sauce, etc. I’ll be sure to share the new Alfredo recipe soon!
I have used the chicken multiple time for a salad. It’s fast and simple, yet is a complete meal. Just toss in some croutons, onions, tomato, and shredded cheese. This is a low fat, yet filling meal.
- 1T. garlic salt
- 1T. pepper
- 1T. paprika
- 1/2 T. basil
- 1/2 T. oregano
- 4 T. olive oil
- Add all seasoning to a small bowl, stir in olive oil.
- Brush mixture on chicken while grilling.
