On Thanksgiving Day, while some adults are busy basting the turkey, putting finishing touches on the pies, finalizing the table decor others are busy watching a bit of football. Meanwhile the kids are in and out of the kitchen and bopping in front of the tv looking for something to do! At this point it’s time to break out the Thanksgiving Word Scramble.
Thanksgiving Word Scramble
I love to challenge people to get creative with this fun activity: if you have a group of kids have them race to be the first one finished and have a prize for the first place finisher! Have little kids? Pair them up with older ones to make a team and compete against other teams. Don’t forgot the adults, they can do this too!
You can grab the download for the Thanksgiving Word Scramble at the bottom of this post. Print out one or many copies.
Hey teachers–print out a classroom set and have the kids do the Thanksgiving Word Scramble for a fun activity the day before Thanksgiving break! Also, be sure not to miss out on free fun printable Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt, the kids will love it!
